NATIONAL PARKS

South Luangwa National Park is acclaimed as one of Africas finest wildlife sanctuaries, with beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife of incredible diversity. Leopard population is one of the highest densities in Southern Africa, providing rewarding sightings during night drives of this beautiful cat. Here you can experience the thrill of Zambia’s signature product, the walking safari.

North Luangwa National Park
is a remote wilderness area in the heart of Africa. Only three safari camps are found in this area, all located along the beautiful, clear waters of the Mwaleshi River. The beauty of the park is its remoteness. The Luwangwa Valley is renowned for its birding, boasting over 400 species occurring in the area.

Kafue National Park is the second largest national park in the world! The picturesque Kafue River forms the eastern boundary of the park. The Kafue is considered to have the largest diversity of antelope of any national park in the world. In the north the Busanga Plains form the pièce de résistance. Take in the views of the palm tree islands and lush, green swamps teeming with red lechwe, and lion, partial to climbing the enormous fig trees. Leopard, wild dog and Zambia’s only known population of cheetah compete with each other for dominance.

Lower Zambezi National Park is one of Zambia’s premier wildlife areas with abundant bird and animal life. Located on the banks of the beautiful, clear Zambezi river. The park is perhaps most famous for its fishing, offering some of the most spectacular fresh water sport fishing in the world.

Lake Kariba is one of the largest man-mad dams in the world. The sunsets, sunrises and star gazing from the lake are spectacular. Fishing and game viewing can all be enjoyed in blissful seclusion from stylish lodges, comfortable guest houses or houseboats available on the lake.
